Release notes | 1.4.40 | 12 September 2024

Online consultation

We've been doing lots of work to prepare for a significant revamp of how you close requests in Anima. For users testing the beta version of our new interface, you'll see a few changes in this release:

Keyboard shortcuts for common actions
Fix for an issue where assigning an unassigned request would fail
Cosmetic fixes and changes

Messaging

We're also laying the groundwork for some significant changes to how our patient messaging works (and looks!). While you won't see any changes in this version of Anima, stay tuned!

We've been doing some technical work in the background to help practices claim back the cost of SMS sent through Anima by migrating to the SMS gateway used by most ICBs. If you'd like to find out more about this change, please contact your Anima account manager or our support team.

Document processing

Various improvements to processing speed & stability and user interface improvements, including:

Reduced incidence of documents failing to process because of their length
Improved feedback when numeric values for codes are invalid
Improvements to the user interface when editing a document summary

Other fixes & improvements

Fixed an issue for some practices whereby the table for patients requiring manual verification was not populating correctly
Fixed performance and stability issues in video consultations
Updated multiple patient questionnaires to clarify recency of injury to reduce unnecessary referrals to ED
Fixed issue causing a free-text answer on the respiratory questionnaire from being shown in the report
Updated HRT Review questionnaire to ask patient to explicitly state whether they have a recent BP reading or not and express this in the report
