Scanning Documents Into Anima
To Scan Documents into Anima, you'll first need to set up your Anima Scan Folder.
We recommend creating a folder on your shared drive (unique to the practice, will contain a letter + a colon). One drive works as well. We recommend calling this something simple such as Anima Scanning.
Once created, you'll simply log into Anima and:
Click Settings
Click Organisation Settings
Navigate to Documents
Navigate to Ingestion from Local Folder and click "Select a Folder"
Navigate to the shared drive or local folder you select that folder.
Click Save Changes once Added
If you use Docman or SystmOne you'll need to download a desktop scanner application. We recommend Windows Scan as its easy to set up and free. You can download it on the microsoft store, or download it here:
Windows Scan Download: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9wzdncrfj3pv?hl=en-US&gl=US
Then, you can save the documents (we recommend the PDF file type) into the folder you've set up
