My dashboard
What is this page? When you log into Anima, you’ll be shown your dashboard. The dashboard contains all the active patient requests at your practice. You can action all patient requests directly from your dashboard, and access all other parts of the Anima platform, including your user settings and contacting patients. The welcome banner at the top of the page tells you how many reviews are assigned to you, and how many Anima reviews you have completed since your last Anima session. The first time you run Anima, SystmOne may ask you to approve the connection - if you accidently clicked no to this, it may cause the error "SystmOne Not Currently Open" even if SystmOne is open. How do I sign off a patient’s request? Once you have reviewed a patient’s request and know what you would like to do next, you can sign off the request in Anima. You can sign off a request: By clicking the red ‘Actions’ button on the side panel in the main dashboard By clicking the red ‘Manage’ button on the pop-up screen when you double click a request. How do patients sign up for Anima? When you start using Anima, you can contact patients directly from your Anima dashboard by clicking ‘Contact patients’ in the left-hand menu. When you send a message to a patient, they will be sent a link to Anima where they can sign up for an account if it is their first time using Anima. How can I contact a patient? You can contact patients directly within Anima from the ‘Contact patients’ page - it’s one of the best ways to get patients to start submitting requests. Click ‘Contact patients’ on your left-hand menu, and first enter the details of the patient you want to contact. You can search for a patient’s contact details using their name and/or NHS number, or enter their details manually. Updating your user settings in Anima Click ‘User settings’ in your left-hand menu to be taken to the user settings page. Here you can update your personal details, settings relevant to your whole practice, and change your Anima password. How to download the Anima desktop program
First, if this is your first time using Anima - welcome! How to contact patients via SMS and email
With Anima, you can contact any patient via SMS and email in just a few clicks. Patients don't even need to have an Anima account. You can send messages to individual patients, or bulk messages to up to 100 patients at a time. You can invite patients to submit a particular request through Anima, or send them your own custom message. Once you've added the patients you want to contact to your recipient list, you can compose your own custom message to send to them. Select Send a custom message from the dropdown list. Use the checkboxes to select whether you want to send an SMS text message, an email, or both. Enter your message (note the character limits!). You can search your EHR for a patient's contact details using their NHS number. To use this method, you must be on a device connected to your EHR, have your EHR running and be logged in. You can manually enter a patient's contact details to send them a message. This can be useful if you are on a computer where you do not have access to your EHR and so you can't use the other search methods. On the Contact Patients page, select Manually enter patient's details. Enter the patient's details in the boxes. Once you have composed a message to send to a patient or patients, you can choose to attach a file to your message. First, make sure you have added the patients you want to send a message to to your recipient list. Select send email (to send an attachment, you must send the patient an email. You can send them a text in addition to the email, but if you are only sending the patient a text, you won't be able to send an attachment.
